Found is derived from reject snapshots recovered from a one hour minilab’s dumpbin. The prints had been stained by developer, torn, stuck together or otherwise damaged during processing and were thus thrown out by the operators. I have selected them out
of the hundreds of discarded prints for their strange chemical beauty, and I see them as “accidental art”, anonymous travel snapshots given a new meaning by being enlarged, framed and placed on a gallery wall.
