ARTIST STATEMENT
These images are based on part of a collection of found objects.
These discarded, rusted metal cans, flattened by passing cars and trucks are both beautiful sculptural objects and reminders of the continuing processes of decay and transformation.
The title ‘Roadkill’ references the observation of animals killed by traffic and the problems we create as a society as we continue to modify and invade the landscape…. New Terrain
