Kari Henriksen Kari Henriksen believes her time spent contemplating and observing the evanescent qualifies of light, atmosphere and weather changes has heightened her awareness of the notion of cyclical change and temporality and affirmed her belief in the importance of connecting with the natural world, for both our spiritual and psychological well-being. She describes her paintings as 'stilled' images of moments that have now passed.
